DELLがOpteronベースのサーバーを準備中？
The InquirerにまたDELLのAMDサーバーの噂話が掲載されている。

AnandTechのSenior Memory & Motherboard EditorであるWesley Fink氏が
Pentium 4 or Athlon64? - TechNY.comで以下のように語っている。
Until the launch of Athlon 64, Intel had been the performance leader for almost two years. AMD is now the performance leader by almost every measure, and it is looking as if AMD may enjoy this performance advantage for at least the next year. Even Dell, who was the last remaining 100% Intel manufacturer, is now readying a new line of Dell servers based on the AMD Opteron processor.
前半はともかく、"Even Dell is now readying a new line of Dell servers based on the AMD Opteron processor"と言い切られている。これで決着か？
